At the end of last year I joined the Essex Photo Club to which I had been introduced to by a fellow photographer whom I met on my Norway trip last November. I greatly enjoy their meetings, which happen twice a month and alternately have either a speaker on some photography subject or an external judge who evaluates submitted photographs from club members. The next meeting of the latter kind is in a week; I submitted 4 photos and I hope they will do well!
The Club also has good local connections, one of which is with the Caldwell Public Library. As a result of this connection, the Club is allowed to exhibit member photographs for the month of January, with a special allowance for February as well. I am very happy to be a member of this exhibition with two of my photos, you can see them in the second column from the left, they are the two lower ones.
