About Me

Hello to you,

I want to tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Germany (West) and I live in the US since the mid 90s. I started to photograph in the early 90s with a small, fully manual, Minox camera with film, but due to more important life changes I put that hobby to rest.

Yet, with the birth of my children in the early 2000s, I picked up a camera again (Canon Rebel) to document their childhood. Eventually, I switched to a digital camera and in 2009 began to take photography more seriously.

Currently, I shoot mostly with my Canon cameras, T5i and 5D Mark III, with Canon and Rokinon Glass. For my infrared photos, I use now a converted Canon T7i, previously I used Sony and Canon converted Point and Shoot cameras.

I hope to be able to capture many more beautiful pictures, but my time is limited as I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2011 and eventually I will have to put my cameras to rest, once again.
