About Travels

Updated: Dec 14, 2019

I rang in the Fall with not one but two wonderful photographer trips, first to the American South-West followed by my currently favorite country, Norway. Sets of photos are posted currently in the Features Folder of the Menu.

The American trip was organized by my friends at Adventures in Photography, and a small group of us flew to Vegas and travelled from there to Zion National Park, Grand Staircase Escalante, Antelope and other canyons, including Bryce. It was a wonderful trip, with ups and downs, literally, when driving in the switchbacks up and down the canyons. Did I mention that I have fear of heights?

After a short break of 5 days I continued my travels with a photographer trip to the Lofoten islands in Norway. I signed on a commercial tour with two guides and eight guests, organised by a Swiss firm named Amazing Views Photo & Adventure Tours. A group of very seasoned Photographers made me look rather not worthy, and it helped me setting the record straight as to where my place in the field of photography is. Nevertheless, I loved this trip and I am glad it was the last one for this year as it was the highlight of the year.
